New eMpower Pricing Schedule
Our CFDs are DMA CFDs, which means unlike other CFD providers we are charged an ASX royalty fee. MF Global’s pricing schedule for the CFD trading platform - eMpower – is a volume based charging structure.
For example, if you trade between 0 – 7 times per calendar month you will be charged $41.25 for ASX royalty fees and $40.70 in respect of software licensing fees. However, if you trade more than 15 times per calendar month, you will receive rebates for both the ASX royalty and software fees, totalling $81.95.

Initial Margin
The initial margin is an amount of money we will
debit from your account at the time the CFD is entered
into. The initial margin represents the security deposit
value that you are required to hold with us when
you first open a CFD position. Initial margin's
start from 5% (ASX top 20) of the contract value and represent
the assessed risk value that MFGA determines should
apply, in its discretion. Click here to see current Margin table.
Variation Margin
The variation margin is the unrealised profit or loss
on your open position. This amount is equal to the
dollar value movement in your open position when compared
against the current market price. We, in certain
circumstances, refund variation margin to you when
a position moves in your favour.
Gross Liquidation Value (GLV)
The GLV is the amount of money you would have in your
account were you to close out all positions at the
current market price (less any transaction charges
or adjustments).
