The eMPOWER trading software retains the following
requirements:
Personal Computer -
166 MHZ Pentium class machine with a minimum of 64
MB RAM.
Operating system & Browser -
Supported by the following browsers with Java enabled
may be used:
Netscape 4.07 to 4.7 (Not 6.x)
Internet Explorer 4.0,5.0,or above
Monitor -
At least a 15 ” colour monitor is required,
although a 17 ” monitor ((or dual monitors)
is recommended.
Network connection -
A network connection of the quality of a 56K modem
or better is required. However, please note that dial
up modems may not provide sufficient bandwidth to
run this application and you may experience communication
problems and delayed prices especially during peak
trading periods. ADSL lines, broadband Internet connections
and ISDN lines offer greater bandwidth and are strongly
recommended.
Currently the eMPOWER trading software does not support
Macintosh type computers.
